Strategy for Reading 6
A strategy for completing the task:
- Read the text quickly
- Attack the easiest gap first
- What's missing? (use common sense)
- Identify clues (in text and answers)
- people and things that do something
- reference words (they, their, this, there)
- connectors and contrasts
- other info
- Look for connections between the clues
Remember to:
- Complete every gap
- Check to see extra sentence doesn't fit
